On Saturday, I did it! I spent $69.56. For my mid-week trip, I went twice. Once to Food Lion yesterday (see previous post) where I spent $45.39, and then tonight I ran by Publix on the way home from Lipscomb. I use the term "ran by" because there were some things we were suddenly out of. Soap for the kiddos, for one. Milk, Cheez-Its, etc. So, keep in mind, some of my buys didn't have coupons. But the ones that did? Well, let's just see if I kept it under $150 for the week...
2 Adam & Eve Apple juices (these were 2/$4 and each one had a $1/1 coupon around the neck, making them $1 each!!! Not on my list, but I couldn't pass it up!)
2 Adam & Eve Berry Berry juices (same coupon in neck)
10 Krusteaz muffin mixes in a variety of flavors- BOGO 2.59 and I had $.50/1 Q's that doubled, making them $.30 each!!!
20 Knorr Sides in a variety of flavors- BOGO 1.27 and I had $.50/2 Q's that doubled, making them about $.14 each!
2 Smuckers Uncrustables 2/$5
Johnsons and Johnsons kid soap $.55
3 Honest Kids drinks BOGO 3.49 and I had $.75/1 Q's making them $1 each.
2 Cheez-Its BOGO 3.19
3 Rotel BOGO 1.09 and I had a Publix Q for $.75/3, making them $.30 each!
I spent $30.52 and saved $65.48. 68% savings!!!! For a "run by" trip!!! Brings a tear to my eye...
Okay, so for the week, I spent $69.56, $45.39, and $30.52 for a grand total of $145.47!!!!! Less than $150!!!! I saved $59.12, $171.92, and $65.48 for a grand total of $296.52!!!!
I haven't been taking pictures because I've practically been unloading straight onto my stock pile, but over the weekend, I will try to take a picture of the pile to show you. It's looking good! My goal is for Nick to not have to go to the store for anything other than milk and bread after the baby comes in June. It's going to be awesome!!!
